winter preparation for canna

Live in high desert (Ca) and wonder what needs to be done for Cannas before winter sets in. They are in pots right now.

Doug says nothing needs to be done really. Assuming they'be been grown properly, they'll be ready to go dormant. Simply dig them up, cut foliage back, store them cool and dry and you're set to replant in spring.
