when to cut foliage back

by mike

when can you cut the bulbs back? Do I need to wait for the stems to naturally die out? I don't won't to hurt the bulbs for next seasons bloom.

Doug says you cut back the foliage when the foliage goes yellow. So yes, you do need to wait for this folige to turn. You can cut the flower stems off as soon as the flowers fade (makes the garden look neater) but don't touch that foliage until it's faded/yellow
