What Month should I dig up my Daffadil bulbs?

My Daffadils have not been dug up in about 10 years. When is the best time to dig them up and separate them and move them to a new location?

Doug says that you can dig them up as soon as the leaves have withered. If you dig in the summer, then store cool and dry for the summer and replant late in the fall for next year. Some folks like to dig in the early fall, do the division and replant but if I'm separating, I usually do it in the early summer.
