What do I do now?

My boyfriend bought me the most beautifull Tulip plant, but now it seems to be dying. I've never had a "green thumb" but don't want him to think I dont care about the plant. I give it water and keep it in semi sun in the living room. PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Doug says - find another way to tell him you really like him. You need to read all the info on maintaining plants - how to water is the critical one. T

hen you have to understand that the plant may not be dying, the leaves may simply have had enough sunlight and are yellowing naturally while the bulb goes dormant. :-)

Now, you have to figure out how you're going to get it be chilled for 14-16 weeks (see the pages on forcing tulips)

Good luck with this. I suspect you'll be able to distract him with something else while you ditch the plant. :-)
