Wedding Favors in July

I am planning on making bulb kits (in 4in. coir pots) to give as favors for my wedding in late July. Can you suggest a easy to grow indoor bulb that are fairly affordable when bought in bulk?

Doug says that the problem is that 1) you're in hot Texas 2) no bulbs will be dormant at that time that you'll be able to obtain inexpensively and/or easily.

So you're stuck with growing the bulb in a pot from early summer (gladiolus) and by July it's going to be a huge plant.

Sorry - I know of no bulb that's going to be dormant or tiny in a 4-inch pot for July.

You might want to consider switching to herbs or small trees that you'll be able to special order at a local nursery.
