I love the coloured leaves on these greigi tulips and planted my first batch (Tulipa Red Riding Hood), late last fall. Only two have come up and they are rather late and still show no sign of blooming. I think they may have been a bit too exposed to the cold as they were on the edge of a slightly raised bed. I will try again, as they would be wonderful to see early in the season. This time I will plant earlier and in a more sheltered location.
