transplanting spring bulbs in spring

My spring bulbs (tulips, daffodils, crocus, and irises) are just beginning to peek through the ground. Some will be overshadowed by larger plants and shrubs when they are ready to bloom. May I transplant them now and plant them in a more sunny location?

Doug says that you can transplant and move spring bulbs very early in the season. Carefully! Not the ideal time to do it but it can be done.
