transplanting daffodils

I just dug up hundreds of daffodil bulbs (Apr 26 2010)from a property out of town. How long can I store these before replanting them? They are tied up in plastic bags. Should I remove them from the bags? Where should I store them? Should I remove the foliage? We are in the process of selling our house and moving so I don't want to plant them here. Thank you!!


Doug says you should replant as soon as possible. And take them out of plastic bags immediately as they won't breathe in there and will start to rot. Other than that, read the articles on storing bulbs, transplanting daffodils etc here Your questions are covered there.
