Transplant and separate bulbs.
by: Anonymous

I am planning to relocate tulips that have 3 " of green leaves. Will there be more than one bulb/plant and if so can I separate them?

I need to move tulips asap

My driveway is being dug up and repaved and I have a flower bed along side my foundation. I have tulips & day lilies that only have leaves right now (April 8th here in Massachusetts). Can I dig them up and replant them elsewhere or will I lose them?

Tulips in March
by: Megan

I just bought some tulips from a home and garden store with 3-4 bulbs in each small pot. I replanted ten into a larger planter and separated some of the roots, trying to preserve as many as possible. They have not flowered yet, but had quite a few roots and have approximately 2 inches or less growth on them. Can I anticipate these being ok for the year? Will I get blooms? Also, should I keep them inside or out? It's mid march in southern Ohio.
