Summer Bulbs

by Rob
(Illinois)

What are some summer bulbs that do not need to be dug up for the winter months?

Doug says that this info is in all the bulb listings on this page.

In Illinois (northern) you can reliably overwinter Camassia, Eremurus, Galtonia, Liatris, Lilies, and Ornithogalum the rest would be considered tender (more or less)

But your results will vary with the individual bulbs and your location. Do check the individual listings for complete wintering details for your zone.
