Storing Daffodil Bulbs for more than a year

I have recently purchased a property with lots & lots of daffodils. I have dug up many of the bulbs. I will be tearing down the existing house & re-building a house on this property. I'd like to replant the bulbs in the new property. It is currently May 2009 and the property will be under construction until Spring 2010. Is it possible to store daffodil bulbs for more than 1 year?

Doug says that he's recommend you plant them somewhere else on the property right away. Storing them that long is more than likely going to kill them - dry them right out.
