Spring bulbs that don't flower

I too have spring bulbs that dont flower or don't flower well. I've lifted 400 of them and put them in a new bed, of good quality well drained soil in a sunny position and I'm in a temperate zone, however flowering has remained poor. Is their any plant supplement that specifically focuses on flower production?
Doug says you don't say what you're trying to grow but the question I have for you is whether you're able to give them enough of a cold period to force them into bloom again and again. In warmer areas, you can often get one (maybe two) blooms from a bulb and then it stops blooming and simply fades away producing leaves but never blooms again.
Here's a general article on why bulbs don't bloom in northern areas.
