Single Early Tulips

Single early tulips are the workhorses of the tulip garden.  These early blooming flower bulbs are the earliest of the tulips to bloom.  They tend to have shorter, stockier (stronger) stems making them quite weather resistant.

Excellent for early cut flowers.

Grown like any any other tulip, these are the plants of choice if you want to have a second crop of annuals in the same space because they will bloom fast enough in the spring and will store enough energy in the leaves (early enough) so you will be able to get a late crop of annuals planted.  Later blooming tulips may be too late blooming to give you a good chance to plant annuals in those space.
