pulling tulips up accidentally in summer

as i was weeding my flower bed, a bunch of tulip bulbs came up. It is August, and I need to know if they will be ok to transplant at a later date. Or do I need to transplant them now?

Doug says when you pull them up accidentally, simply put them back in the ground. They're dormant (or should be) and they should be fine. That's what I do in any case.
