poisonous plants among vegetables

Is it safe to plant things like daffodils and azaleas amoung edible plants like vegetable or strawberries?

Doug says that unless you're going to be eating the poisonous plants, there's no problem at all. The dangerous quality of plants such as daffodils is in the plant - not secreted to other plants.

Having said that - I can see where you'd plant a vegetable or two into your ornamental beds where the daffodils would be but not the reverse. There'd be too much digging around in the vegetable bed to suit the bulbs.
