planting bulbs from potted plants

I have some pots of hyacinths and would like to plant them when and how?

Doug says - just about anytime that frost is over in your region and the plants have finished blooming.

Be very careful about disturbing the roots (don't)
Dig a hole and set the pot in the hole so the top of the pot soil is the same level as the garden soil.

Backfill.

Water.

Enjoy hyacinth next spring.
