Plant Bulbs in Michigan

We go to our house in the UP of Michigan in the summer. I planted spring blooming bulbs last fall and they're beautiful - tulips, daffodils, crocus, etc! What bulbs can I plant (and when) so I have flowers blooming in July and August?
I live in Phoenix, AZ so I don't have a clue what blooms up there. Not cactus, I'm assuming.
