No blooms after long winter

I, too, am having the problem of lots of wonderful green leaves, but no blooms on my daffodils or tulips. I read your response to the Atlanta post, but that is not my problem. We have just come out of a very long and cold winter here in the Midwest, so I'm wondering what other factor may be causing this? Thanks for your help!
