Multiflora Hyacinths

Dear Doug,

I'm 20 years old and starting my first garden. I have always wanted hyacinths, but read they perform best their first year and are sometimes disappointing the second year. Is this true of the multiflora, or do they repeat well?


Doug says that the growing conditions for both are exactly the same. And "disappointing" the second year depends on how they are grown the first year. :-) Grow them properly and you'll be fine with either.
