moving an Iris

I have an 8 year old iris it only bloomed 2 times. The leaves come up great. When can I move it? It does get alot of shade.

Doug says - move it early in the spring, divide it and plant the individual corms. Full sun! This plant isn't a shade-lover and this is likely one of the culprits in its low bloom cycle.
