Mold on bulbs

Will mold on bulbs keep them from blooming?

Doug says that if you just bought them - plant them. They should be fine. If you're at all concerned, wipe them with a 1-5% bleach solution to kill off the fungus. 1 part bleach to 100 parts water - that small concentration won't hurt the bulb but it should knock the fungus back.

As long as the bulb is hard and firm, you should be fine. If soft - it's dying.
