life span

What is the average life span of: tulips, daffodils, hyacinths and crocus?

Doug says it depends. If you grow them properly, tulips will go 3-5 years. If you grow them properly, daffodils will bloom for 10+ as will crocus. Treat them badly and you'll get one year.

tulips life span
by: Marilynne

Tulips seem to lay in the ground for years without blooming. In the winter of 91-92 we had 60 inches of snow here. I had tulips bloom that spring I had'nt seen for years, and had forgotten about. This past winter we had a wet winter and the same thing happened. Very strange.
