How Late to plant Summer and Fall blooming bulbs

In Connecticut what is the latest summer and fall blooming bulbs can be planted ?
Doug says the "latest" depends on the bulb and how you're going to grow it. But in general - as a rule of thumb, you want to have all your annual summer and fall blooming bulbs in by the end of May.
You can push glads a week or two later but if you're planting late, you can only use the early-flowering varieties or they'll get whacked by frost before they bloom.
Fall blooming perennial bulbs are normally planted in the very early spring or mid-fall. If you're talking about perennials and are seldom planted in the summer or "late".
I hope these general guidelines answer your question.
