"Apricot Whirl" Daffodils
These lovely daffies open yellow (like the ones on the left) and slowly turn a creamy apricot colour as they age (like the ones on the right).
MIXED BED

Taken in a community garden in Richmond. A good mixture of bulbs and other bloomers I think.

Apparently I'm not the only one who likes grape hyacinths!
Double Daffodil

Daffodil
This seems to be a hybrid between the fully double daffodils and the trumpet daffodils that were planted together. In any case, I separated it out and hopefully there will be more next year!

Snowdrops
This is what you see when you look up from the ground at the snowdrops at my house...not sure if its a double one or if they're all like this, but I think it's pretty anyway!

These crocuses were part of a prize I won last year. They are exceptional performers: a good 10 cm tall with strong stems and brilliant centres. Our early spring coaxed them to bloom in February, in time for the Olympics.

one would think that seeing a white tulip after all that snow is not such a big deal but this beauty humbled me, it braved the bitter winter and came out and lifted its face in all its glory...it stood among colored ones but for all that mattered it could have stood alone...it just drew the eye...
VERTICAL MINI IRISES
by Angela

These Iris Reticulata seem to have arranged themselves as a column of blue to show off the raindrops.
FLAMING PARROT
by Angela

I took this picture a week ago in Kew Gardens, London. Most of the tulips were over but not a bed of glowing orange and red parrot tulips. Even on a dull day they glowed.

The beauty of Natures miracle!
We have several flowering trees on our property and I could not help myself klicking away. I thought the tenderness of the blossoms contrasting the bark was very beautiful.
