established daffodils sprouting in November

Established Daffodil bulbs in a mulched area on the S. side of our home have decided to send up leaves about 1" and it's Nov. 8th. What to do- mound them with dirt, mulch, dig up and bury deeper or just leave them be? Could it have been the unseasonabley cool summer and the chilly spell earlier in fall that caused this now that we've had some 50 and 60 degree days? Please advise
Doug says it happens. Nothing you can do. As long as the flower buds don't develop before the ground gets cold enough - you'll get flowers next year. If the buds develop and come out of the bulb, you'll likely lose them over the winter in your zone. In this case, the leaves will pop up again next year with no flowers and they'll start the growing cycle all over again.
