Dried Out Bulbs

by Linda Menk
(Newnan, GA USA)

I ordered several varieties of lilies and irises last fall and forgot to plant them. They are dried out and I'm wondering if there is any way I can revitalize them for planting now. Any ideas?

Doug says he's sorry but if they look dried out and withered - or dried out and soft - they're dead. No revitalization possible. :-(

It's only if the bulb is rock hard and full that it's worth planting.
