Double Early Tulips

Double early tulips are the best of the doubles.

Why Double Early Tulips are Excellent

They tend to bloom early in your tulip season but they have relatively short stems (10 to 12 inches) so they are not as susceptible to bad weather as later flowering doubles.

How To Garden Design With Them

Use these bulbs in any garden space but they are particularly well suited for container use because of their brilliant color range.

Their short stature also makes them useful for the early spring rock garden.

Plant them 2 inches apart.
