The Wild Welsh Daffodils

Daffodils grow prolifically in the wild all over the mountains and roadsides in Wales every spring. They are our national flower and are called the 'Ceninen bedr' in Welsh. On 1st March, St David's Day (the patron saint of Wales) people pin the head of a daffodil to their lapel or jumper in the fashion of a carnation at a wedding.
