after my asiatic lillies have bloom and are beginning to dry out, can i cut them back to ground level. if not is any pruning recommended?
Doug says do not cut them back to ground level.
You want as many leaves left on the plant as possible in order to generate energy for the plant. So cut off the flowers and seed pods and a few inches of stem but leave the rest alone to keep producing energy for next year's flowers.
