Is there any reason you have to plant tulips in "normal" spots in your garden?

Think of it - this plant is far less expensive than any pack annual you'll purchase, is tough, able to grow and flower first thing in the spring and give you color when there's little else around to brighten your winter-bound mood.

These tulips - in a wide variety of colors, shapes and uses add seasonal color to your garden.

And really, what's stopping you from filling up a bathtub? Or container?

For those with winter-concerns, pick up inexpensive pots of tulips in the spring - do NOT take them out of the pot but rather plant the pot and all in the container - whether it be an inner tube, a fancy clay pot or a bathtub. Grow and then replace them with other plants when the flowers are faded. Inexpensive, easy to do and way too much fun. :-)

So there you are - some tulip growing ideas that are different.
