This allium came from my grandmother's flowerbed when I was just a child. My mother never liked alliums, so I had to guard it closely so it didn't get "accidentally" pulled out. I moved only one bulb to our new house and this year that one bulb had two blooms coming from it. Hopefully in the next couple years it will finally be allowed to spread!
